Layout For Book Of Me

This is the last layout I have completed for my BOM so far. The photo was taken by a professional photographer and was the only ones we ever had done except for School photos. I think I was about 3 in this photo. This layout was to be inspired by Ingrid G and I had to kinda squish it in and adapt her style to my 8x8 pages.....

I swear no more 8x8 pages ever!!!!

Thanks for dropping by....

Me & My Parents - Book Of Me

This is a layout I did for the BOM that was an open book. I chose a photo of me at 9 weeks with my Mum & Dad. This is the only photo I own with the 3 of us in it......
On my tiny 8x8 pages the Fancy Pants Glitter Cuts (TBSS) were the perfect size to da a simple layout.

Thanks for looking.....'til next time.....ciao

Book Of Me - Christmas

I love Christmas. It's my favourite time of year. Unfortunately I am usually behind the camera so I don't have a lot of photos to use for a Christmas layout with me in it! I chose to do a double layout for this one as I had a photo taken on Christmas Day when I was 5 and one when Jake was little. Still love Christmas!.....

Thanks for visiting....see you soon

Book Of Me Continued...

I have had a catch up this week, trying to complete a few more layouts for my BOM. I am finding it extremely frustrating as I have so few photos and because of my idiotic idea to do my layouts in 8x8 size. It is soooo restricting to scrap this way and I can never seem to get the page to look balanced enough. Anyway here are my latest additions:

BOM Layout - "What The 80's Meant To Me..."

BOM Layout - "18"

Will add a couple more in the continuing saga of my life soon....LOL

A First For Everything

This week was truly a week of firsts for me!
Firstly (LOL)....I finally got around to doing my very first digi layout. It was frustrating at times and it took me 2 days but I finally got it done. Problem now is that I really, really want to do a better one so I could easily become obsessed with digi's.....LOL. I used Kath's gorgeous sketch challenge for this layout.

Here is my first digi layout

My other first for the week was a "Collage". Our talented guest designer at TBSS this month is Deb Mitchell and she does some awesome collage layout's which inspired me to give one a go! I did this layout for Nat's challenge of black with at least 3 highlights of each of the colors green, yellow and white.....

I ended up with a huge mess doing this one and was spread out on the floor in the end. Wait 'til you try picking up a collage layout! So heavy....and it didn't help I'd been laying on the floor and my back was killing me!....LOL. The photos are of my son Jake, 14. Lucky boy was given a new computer by his Uncle Mark and the look on his face just said it all. I guess it's a bit like opening a big box of scrapping supplies!...LOL

Anyway this is the end result!

Thanks for looking. Come back soon....

Funny Bunny

I just wanted to share a layout I did for Kath's sketch challenge last week. This is a photo of our new family member Harry. Harry doesn't know he is a rabbit! He loves to go for walks in the backyard on his little bunny lead and he is such a character! We love him...
