Ducks?

I went back to the dreaded "Photos To Scrap" folder today and was determined to use another older photo. This one is from March last year!!!! I am soooo naughty....lol Anyways I was in the mood to try something a little different today so I came up with this layout. I have a "THING" for unusual colour combinations lately and I just can't help putting some unlikely combos together. This was basically burgundy and aqua but I left all the chipboard natural to throw a little extra into the mix :)

And I have to ask the question again. Why do all kids love feeding ducks????....lol

Also I received this lovely award today from Corrina at My Scrap Burrow. Thank you so much :)

I am supposed to pass it on to 6 people but I always feel like a big meanie giving it to 6 because there are plenty of inspirational bloggers out there who equally deserve an award. So I am calling this one a freebie. Please feel free to grab it and display it on your blog and pass it on to some more beautiful people who deserve a little sunshine :)

A Misty Magical Morning

If you lived in outer western Sydney like me you would have seen a magical sight this morning. While driving the kids to school I looked up to see the Blue Mountains covered in misty clouds. Beautiful!!!
It reminded me of a photo I took last year on another drive we had up the mountains one day. It was cold and wet and very misty but there is always something magical about walking around on a day like that.
Anyway I came home and found the photo in my "Photos To Scrap Folder" and came up with this layout. Now I feel really good because I promised I would try and catch up on scrapping that folder.....lol
