A Gift

Quick post today!
One of the teachers from the little kids school is retiring at the end of next term but he has a term full of long service leave to take, so tomorrow will be his last day at the school.

He is a lovely person and both of my youngest kids have had the good fortune to have him as their teacher while they have been at this school. We wanted to give him a handmade gift so we came up with this little Journal that also has some clear pages in it where you can keep mementos or photos to go with your journaling.

I embellished the journal with some KisaerCraft goodies and made a matching gift tag that doubles as a page marker. I also made this little star card (for being a star teacher....lol)
Hopefully he can use it for something wonderful like a travel journal! Happy retirement Mr Leitch :)

I apologise for the shocking photos but we have NO sun today!

Also I made this quick card for the son of one of my friends.

Blog Hopping Tidy Up!

For the last few days I have been fighting with my blog list!
I was finding it really hard to find a particular blog when I needed to and I was also missing a lot of really cool stuff. (I admit to having a really large collection of blogs I like to visit)
So I have tried using a couple of different blog lists and quickly realised that most of the blogs I visit fit into more than one list, actually a lot of them could fit into almost all the lists.....lol
Now the worst part is in all the re-arranging and sorting I may have lost a few blog addresses!
Anyway the short story is I am still not sure if I like how they are organised and will probably need to change things some more.
The lists are organised for my own personal benefit so I hope nobody is offended by the way I have organised things. Please let me know if you are.

I hope everybody is having a great weekend :)

Love These!

Happy Monday Everyone!
I have to show you my most favourites things at the moment.
These storage containers I got from Tracy at My2Angels are life savers!
I can't believe it took me so long to get these. The small ones are perfect for charms and brads and the larger ones fit small flowers, large charms, leaves etc.
(I have already filled mine up though and need more....lol)

Click on the links below to check them out.
Large storage container with 12 jars
Small Plastic Storage Container with 30 jars

Last weekend I went to the CraftExpo here in Sydney and was lucky enough to do one of the layout classes with the very talented Sarah Gladman, Scrapbooking Memories Master!
This weekend I finally got around to adding a photo to the layout.
I have to admit this was my first class EVER and I also did one of Sarah's card classes as well (Can't show you those because I have already sent them off to some lovely people....lol). They were both a heap of fun.

More Projects...

I have this great book (Paper Sculpt Sensation) with some really cute paper craft ideas in it.
I adapted this little cake box from a much larger version to suit my Spellbinder Circle Nestabilities for a CPT project for DownUnder Direct.

Full product list can be viewed here

Then there was this card I did a tutorial for. This is a simple, elegant, economical Easter card. You can make 3 cards from one sheet of 12x12 Bazzill, some small scraps and a scrap of Hessian or fabric.

Full product list and tutorial can be viewed here

That's it for today. Have a few projects waiting here to show you but it's all top secret stuff at the moment.....lol

Friday tomorrow. Yay!

Internet Is Back :)

YAY!
I'm back..... That dial-up speed was killing me and now I have so much to catch up on. So I will just share half of what I have to show you and share the other half later!

This was a layout for my CPT work at DownUnder Direct.
(Note to self: cut the stupid little connector bits of the Prima Say It In Studs before you take the photo) and yes I was too lazy to go back and take another photo without them....lol

Full product list can be viewed here

The youngest kids have a Mother's Day Stall every year at school and I created a couple of handmade gifts this year. I turned these........

into these.........

I will leave you with that for today.
Hope everybody had a great weekend and their week looks brilliant :)

My2Angels March Layout

Just a very quick post today to share a layout I did for my DT work at My2Angels.
Tracy gave us free reign (careful!...lol) to work with some of the gorgeous products from her shop.
Still being in an "unusual colour combo's" mood I chose to use this gorgeous Die-Cut paper from Making Memories as my background.
Who says Christmas paper can only be used on Christmas layouts???

I really like the green, pink and red combo for a change.

And check out the cute little camera and crown charms at the bottom of the flower cluster.
You can click on the products below to go directly to that page in the shop.
