Well today is a sad today but an exciting one as well!
Today marks the last day for TBSS. But in it's place is going to be one heck of a kick ass site!
I can't wait to show you all how fab the new site is going to be.

Here is my take on the second project at PROJECT 52.
The inspiration for this project was supplied by Jeni Boisvert an amazingly talented lady who's work I absolutely adore!

This was like a Valentine's gift for me! It's really, corny but I had a lot of fun doing it.
The plate is from a pile ready for the charity shop, as were the little white flowers until I cut them up! The plate was painted and distressed and with some die-cut PP, ribbon and pearls, voila!

For a bit of fun Kellie sent me this challenge where you have to go into your photo files, go to the 6th file and show everyone the 6th photo. This could be scary 'cause my photos need a huge clean up.....LOL.

You can't get much further away from my normal scrapbooking with this LO, but I just wanted to do something a bit fun for the kids.
I did this LO for my Random Challenge last week at TBSS.
I have used only Cardstock and Kaiser Products for this LO.

It makes me smile just because of it's silliness!.....LOL

I visited one of my favourite blogs called Bad Girls which is one of my fav's for inspiration and lots of oohing and ahhhing and came across a new blog they have started called PROJECT 52. I have to say that as soon as I read what PROJECT 52 was all about, it was like getting a slap in the face. It was me! I have copied over what I read so you can see what I mean.

My goal with Project 52 is not only to help you to be inspired, but also to help you learn how to unleash your fear. Most of the barriers that hold us back from being the best artist we can stems from that nasty little critic inside of you that taunts you every time you sit down to create….do you know who I am talking about??? The evil little voice that always convinces you that “you suck”….”just give up…you can’t create art”……”that doesn’t look good, maybe a different color would be better”….”you know you can’t work with that medium…give it up”…”what the heck are you thinking??? Are you crazy??? You can’t mix those elements and colors together” and the banter goes on and on until your soul is worn out and you truly throw in the towel….no mojo…and you stop creating….or if you keep creating, you feel unsatisfied and your art is lacking from what you truly want it to be…and why??? Because you shut down…because you are not creating from the depths of your soul….you are listening to the critic and he is winning the game. It’s time to make a change….and that is what Project 52 is here for…so roll up your sleeves and get ready to create…

So off I went, inspired, determined and ready to push the envelope.

This is my first project for PROJECT 52. I have been wanting to do a couple of journals for myself for a long time. So with a kick up the backside I had no reason to not create my first one.
I had a heap of fun with this!

Finally I got around to doing Nat's sketch at Nat's Creative Chaos.
I made a few oopsies with this one so I got a bit frustrated......LOL
But here it is anyways.
Oh bugger I forgot to take a picture of the journaling card, 'cause it pulls out from behind. Oh well all it says is how gorgeous my nephew Cordell is and how I couldn't stop hugging and kissing him as soon as I got hold of him....LOL
This was the first pic of me and him together and yes he was wondering who that crazy woman was. He is looking straight at his Mum for some reassurance!

My challenge at TBSS last week was to create a layout in any size or shape except a 12x12. It's nice to really step out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself. I decided on a A4 layout which I hadn't done since I first started scrapbooking, but to push myself further I did it in landscape which I had never done. Here is what I came up with. This is a pic of my Nan and my Aunty. My DD took this photo on her new camera. Pretty good for a 7 year old I reckon!

I'm nearly there. This blog has caused me a few headaches and a lot of swear words but I nearly have it looking how I want to.
I just had it in my head that I needed to personalise with my own blog banner and I just didn't think I needed a fancy shmansy name either. It's just me here. My life, my scrap creations, my annoying verbal dribble.....LOL

How cute is this!
My gorgeous DD Kiahna wanted to scrap a page for Nat. (Nat's Creative Chaos). She decided on the colour scheme then she went to Spotlight with me and picked out everything she wanted to put on the LO. She still raided my stash for some alpha, a rhinestone, flowers and the prima leaves. Then she sat there and laid everything out on the floor and designed how her page was going to look. She wrote the little note below to send to Nat and then had second thoughts about actually giving the LO away so only the note is going to reach Nat now!.....LOL

I really do like sketches. Problem is I think I suck at them....LOL

This started out as a 12 x 12 page and then got out of control, so now it's a 30 x 40cm canvas but has centre stage on top of my stash cabinet!
Had fun going outside the lines though.....LOL

I managed to get a little scrapping done yesterday. I have a whole heap of ideas in my head at the moment and unfortunately I think they are all fighting with each other....LOL

Anyway this first layout is for Kirsti's quote challenge last week at TBSS. It was to be anything New Years related. I have issues with New Years Resolutions! I always break them so try not to make them now! My resolutions for this year though is more of a personal development thing.
