OMG.......I have some amazing news that I am busting to share but unfortunately I need to hang on to that just a little longer......LOL
But I promise the second I am allowed to share, I will!

In the meantime I have a LO to share that I did for a little bit of fun.
My DS (15) found an old video tape that had broken and pulled all the tape out.
The 3 kids then had ages of fun wrapping themselves up in it and dragging it around the room....LOL.
The minute I took them photo's I knew I had to use this title!
(and of course spent the rest of the day singing it.....LOL)

Hope everybody has an awesome day!....xxx

Morning gorgeous people!
Would you believe I found a layout I forgot to upload here. Yep! Hopeless aren't I?
This was for a challenge where you had to add products for each of the letters in DESIGN TEAM.
Here was my take on this:

D = die-cut paper, distressing
E = eyelet punch, epoxy charm
S = staples, stars
I = ink, image (probably in photoshop too much....lol)
G = grungeboard, glimmermist
N = noteworthy note, narrative (the book page)

T = transparency, tassel (beaded)
E = eyelets, evelope (handmade tiny one to the left of the pic)
A = alpha, acid free pen
M = metal butterfly, metal charm

Thanks for stopping by.....xxx

This layout was for the last of the monthly challenges at Ready, Set, Scrap!
Kath's Word challenge was to use 3 photos, ribbon and the word Happy in your title or somewhere in your journaling. Mine is to the left of the pics as a definition.
My gorgeous DD with her laugh that always makes me smile!

Had heaps of fun with this one thanks Kath!

Thanks for looking.....xxx

As you can see I have pulled one of my layouts down :(

The good news is that it is out for publication...woo hoo!
It was picked up by Scrapbooking Memories this afternoon for their Encore Gallery.
Details on issue yet to come!
Wow I feel so lucky at the moment....
Morning all you beautiful people.
Here is two more challenges I have completed for Monthly Challenges at Ready, Set, Scrap!

The first one is for Nat's Monthly Number Challenge for February, featuring my gorgeous nephew Cordell again!
For Nat's challenge you had to use all of the following somewhere on your creation:
1 oversized photo
2 circles
3 PP's
4 staples
5 different flowers
6 inch title (minimum)
7 crosses
8 buttons
PHEW!

The second LO is for Shell's Quote/Title Challenge for February.
You had to include the quote "So Happy Are The Hearts That Love You"
and feature handcutting and an owl somewhere on your LO. This is a seriously 'bumpy' LO and looks so different in real life....LOL

Here's a detail pic

Thanks for stopping by. Hope everybody has a gorgeous day!...xxx

I'm back again 'cause I wanted to share a little OTP / altered item that I made for my daughter Kiahna's room. I am still not sure whether to attach a ribbon and hang it on the door or put it on a little mini easel or something for her bedside table (all suggestions welcome....LOL).
This was a Kaiser wood door hanger but I made the door handle hole into a photo hole instead!

See you all again tomorrow!....xxx

Here's another layout for the monthly challenges over at Ready, Set, Scrap!
This one was for Lexie's White With 2 challenge.
You had to use:
White Background
Orange & Pink
2 Photos

I had a lot of fun with this one thanks Lexie.

Off to do some housework. The sun is shining today for the first time in over a week and I want to catch up on some washing while I can!.....LOL
Thanks for stopping by. Have a gorgeous day....xxx

Now don't laugh but I found this unfinished digi on my computer when I was
having a little clean-up.
Oops!
Anyways I finished it off, well actually it finished itself off and went a little beserk on its's own. But here it is!......LOL. I used elements from Karah Fredericks and Tara Dunstan. I think!
This is me with my first bike. Like the 'P' plates.....LOL

Catch you all in cyber space.....xxx

Another couple of LO's to show you!
One is all about moi and some of the things I want to achieve this year.
The other is a pic of Kiahna taken on Australia Day and the quote that reads "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams" ~ Eleanor Roosevelt, was just so fitting!

I have been meaning to get in here long before this and show you a couple of layouts I have done for Friday's Cyber Crop at Ready,Set,Scrap!

However like many other people my mind has been on family and friends living in Victoria and the horrible devastation the fires have caused. My heart goes out to all the people affected by this and the communities they live in.
I think that as a small compensation Australia is still the lucky country and one bound my mateship! I know that Australia will rally around these people and help them as best they can.
A huge congratulations to the Firefighters from the CFA and other firies from across Australia who have gone to help. Your dedication and heroism has not gone unnoticed.....

So here are 2 layouts I have done for the Cyber Crop.

This one was for Shell's challenge...

and this one was for Rach's challenge...

I leave my thoughts with the people who have lost property or worse loved ones...

Saturday, February 7, 2009

Last night was a HUGE one!
Everything went off with a bang last night at the Cyber Crop at Ready, Set, Scrap!
There was a lot of fun to be had there last night and the DT offered up 9 amazing challenges for everyone to get creative with!
I will admit to runnicg amok just a little bit (ok a lot!).....LOL
but it was a heap of fun. Thanks to everyone who came and joined in with all the antics.

Here is my example for my Cyber Crop Challenge.
I wanted everyone to get gooey, icky, mushy, corny and completely over the top with a Valentines's card. This was my way of adding a little more humour into the challenges!

Thanks for coming by, see you all soon......xxx
