A Gift

Quick post today!
One of the teachers from the little kids school is retiring at the end of next term but he has a term full of long service leave to take, so tomorrow will be his last day at the school.

He is a lovely person and both of my youngest kids have had the good fortune to have him as their teacher while they have been at this school. We wanted to give him a handmade gift so we came up with this little Journal that also has some clear pages in it where you can keep mementos or photos to go with your journaling.

I embellished the journal with some KisaerCraft goodies and made a matching gift tag that doubles as a page marker. I also made this little star card (for being a star teacher....lol)
Hopefully he can use it for something wonderful like a travel journal! Happy retirement Mr Leitch :)

I apologise for the shocking photos but we have NO sun today!

Also I made this quick card for the son of one of my friends.
